Since the acclaimed 'Brood' release on Hotflush, Barry Lynn has taken off in a big way. With 3 albums on the legendary Planet Mu label and whispers of a new label in the air, it seems that he is only going to accomplish himself further in the future. A dedication to quality in production and influences including Dubstep, Jungle, Hip-Hop, Jazz and Electronica give him a unique sound that is rich in texture but is also capable of sending dance floors wild. This is a return gig for Barry at Yardcore and we can safely say that he is responsible for one of our favourite sets yet.

We are lucky enough to be hosting Subeena's first live dubstep set. She is the co-founder of the ever growing Immigrant records and the successful Platform 1 nights at Corsica Studios. With 2 releases under her belt, mounting interest and plenty of radio airtime; her future is bright. Expect a techy sound with plenty of bass weight that will pummel the dancefloor silly.

Dirty breakstep from producers with a dark drum and bass background. With a release on Peace Off's bassy sub-label 'Ruff Records' that's getting rinsed by the likes of Amon Tobin and Mary-Anne Hobbes, they have been making waves throughout the scene. We have had them doing their higher tempo stuff at the last Yardcore and it kicked off hard, keeping the dancefloor going until the wee hours.

We first heard wAgAwAgA during a Barry Lynn set recently. The dancefloor went off so hard that the tune was pulled up and he let us all in on who was responsible for it. Their sound is heavily dub-oriented electronica, with a jungle flavour. It is beautiful, considered and heavy, and once you have a listen to their tunes you'll be looking forward to seeing them as much as we are.

If you haven't experienced one of Zan's sets then you have missed out on one of the most sensorarily challenging live sets that London currently has to offer. Zan combines his stunning films, some of which have been nominated at Cannes and Raindance, and his live violin playing to an awesome effect. Looping his violin whilst dropping dark and chaotic beats to make a collage of overwhelming soundss and sights. He is one of the most emotive performers that we've seen, putting himself entirely into his art and remains at the forefront of the Audio-Visual scene.
